A pioneering project for sustainable rehabilitation in Lisbon.
Estimated delivery May 2024
More than just a development project, this is a statement on environmentally conscious living for the 21st century.
A focus on local, green products, building materials, as well as a commitment to reducing consumption resources, are at the heart of its theme.
But going green is not enough. We want to offer our residents the opportunity to be part something bigger, being part of a community.
Stroll along its central alley towards the green spaces and swimming pool. Relax in its common areas and soak up the city view. Embrace a sense of community in the heart of Lisbon.
The project has an infinity pool with spectacular views of the classic red brick rooftops of Lisbon.
Use a salt filtration system to deliver silky smooth, naturally sanitized water that won't irritate eyes and won't fade fabrics.
Vertical gardens that use less water and electricity than the traditional variety, while filtering the air and offsetting our carbon footprint.
It is a pioneering sustainable rehabilitation project in Lisbon. It shows if we dig a little deeper and take a look at what lies behind its beautiful walls.
The use of ecological building materials is at the heart of the project.
These include, but are not limited to, clay, bamboo, stone, pine bark, and cork.
The project will offer its residents the luxuries of modern living, but it will do so while keeping its energy consumption levels to a minimum.
A rainwater harvesting system will store water underground when it rains.
This water can then be used to irrigate the project's green spaces, as well as for non-potable indoor appliances, such as toilets and washing machines.
The solar panels will take advantage of Portugal's excellent sunny weather, capturing energy from the sun, reducing the project's dependence on the local environment, power grid and fossil fuels.
We are proud to say that all of this will result in an "A" energy certification rating. A commitment not only to ourselves, but to our planet.
The community area providing opportunities for group activities such as sets, barbecues or more relaxing endeavors like yoga or just kicking back with the romance. the utility area comes equipped with energy efficient washing machines and dryers, free for all residents to use.
Portugal is in the first place in the world for the transformation of cork, with 53% of the world production. Cork is a 100% natural product. it is soft, resistant, versatile, recyclable, hypoallergenic and has excellent thermal properties.
Cork is not only used for wine bottles, but also for home and fashion accessories, clothing and shoes, furniture, as well as floor or wall coverings.
Cork is such an important element in the history of Portugal that traces of it can be found in many monuments including the Convent of Santa Cruz do Buçaco and the Convent of the Capuchins of Sintra. Local monks used cork for its excellent properties as a building material and for decorative purposes. Cork is harvested from the Quercus Suber tree, commonly known as the cork oak tree.
The species is native to Portugal and can be seen in its forests. using it allows us not only to reduce energy transport costs, which is good for the environment, but also to help producers and the local economy.
It should also be noted that cork oaks are not cut or damaged in any way during the harvesting process. In fact, the tree regenerates every nine years. those the properties naturally lend themselves to an ecological project.
